GC Workflow

The Computational Design workflow provides tools to select general usage element selection, capture design history, update graphs, display graph, manage node types and transactions, add graph variables, and build functions.

When the active workflow is set to Computational Design, two contextual ribbon bars, named Home and Model appears. The commonly used tools to create, manipulate and modify nodes, as well as node view settings are arranged in tabs on these two ribbons.

The Graph, Transactions, Node Types, Properties, Function, Console tools open respective tool setting interfaces. These dialogs can stay open in the view until they are closed manually. Any such tool can either be located on the ribbon tab and selected or searched in the ribbon (<F4>) and picked to activate.

Alternatively, you can simply invoke a given tool by entering its Key In. Every GC tool covered in this help is provided with a unique Key Ins string.
